RP Boo, Mndsgn play 1994 Magazine party in LA

- The footwork progenitor will spin in Boyle Heights this Sunday.
- RP Boo will headline the 1994 Magazine release show this Sunday at 213* Hardware Studio in LA. 1994 is described as "a platform for artists to explore the relationship between visual art and sound." The entity will publish a bi-annual zine and throw quarterly events with the mission of "celebrating the many subcultures within electronic music." Issue one, available Sunday, contains various photo essays focused on Chicago's Teklife crew. Footwork pioneer RP Boo will travel from the Windy City to perform at the party. A number of Stones Throw/Leaving Records affiliates have been booked to support. Mndsgn will play an '80s funk/R&B style set, and blunted production vet Ras G will perform with Koreatown Oddity as 5 Chuckles.
