The South African house staple will play Droog's residency at Lot 613 in March.
Black Coffee tops the bill at Prototype 006 in Los Angeles on March 27th.
Ten years into his career, the deep house master's "Afropolitan" sound has continued to reach a wider audience. In 2014, the Umlazi-native born Nkosinathi Maphulmulo was named a DC-10 resident and worked with Ballantine’s to adapt his track "Rock My World" for an a cappella "human orchestra."
He's in LA courtesy of Droog, the trio behind the Culprit label and parties. The Culprit residency at Lot 613 fits into Prototype's reimagining of the warehouse-style club, which has seen appearances from Matthew Dear and Magda in recent months. They'll also host a Feel My Bicep night with Omar S on the 20th.
