  • As the deeper, darker sound of not so poppy club culture music begins to be accepted and enjoyed more by the mainstream, we will no doubt see and hear more about DJ’s behind the soundtracks of feature films. John Digweed has added another string to his already multi-talented bow and recently spoke to Rolling Stone about his upcoming soundtrack for a feature film. The film titled ‘Stark Raving Mad’ stars Sean William Scott (American Pie, Dude – Where’s My Car). John said to Rolling Stone magazine that “They [Stark Raving Mad producers] really liked the whole Bedrock sound. They were fans of that music and they wanted to give their film a real club feel. We kind of hooked up and hit it off well.” Having John Digweed behind your film sound track is already a brilliant idea, but when you couple this with contributions from Pole Folder, Moonface and Voyager you know the music will be top notch. Lets hope the film, which will be released in the Northern spring, will live up to the expectations set by the soundtrack.
