So it didn't happen overnight but it did happen! ...in a little over a year RA has managed to establish itself as one of the leading providers of dance music related media.
The BIG news is that we have finally broken a barrier of sorts - the first month of 2003 saw RA break in the New Year by smashing through the million page view barrier. RA served up a total of 1,236,506 individual pages in January. This should not be confused with 'hits' or file requests but as the total number of full pages that were viewed.
With residentadvisor reaching a solid base in terms of site development we have spent a lot of time over the past few months refining and building on what has already been achieved. The reviews section was recently overhauled, giving it a much cleaner viewing format as well as allowing for more information to be displayed. This has been growing hand-in-hand with the record label section of the site.
The RA events section, which was the oldest part of the website, also underwent a massive overhaul. We stripped things back to the fundamentals and re-wrote the entire section of the site adding these features: new navigation, better display, access to more information, an update feature for promoters and, if that wasn't enough, a comprehensive club/venue listing.
The new club/venue section of RA also includes; upcoming and previous event details, reviews, archives of photos, as well as a solid amount of general information for each selected venue.
