- Different Strokes, due out next month, will mark his debut on Luke Slater's label.
Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver label will welcome Steve Rachmad into the fold next month with a new Sterac EP, Different Strokes.
The Dutch techno artist, like his UK counterpart Slater, has been making music for more than two decades—and doing it through a bunch of different aliases. Sterac, the outlet for some two dozen releases (including two albums) over the years, is perhaps his most prominent. Following EPs for Klockworks and Delsin in 2014, Rachmad's next release as Sterac counts as his debut on Mote-Evolver, and it's described as a "spartan, uncluttered" set of four tracks heavy on the TR-808.
