The Prologue techno duo will play alongside Tin Man, Orphx and Jeff Derringer in early May.
Cassegrain has announced a four-date tour of the states beginning on May 1st in Seattle.
Following EPs for labels like M_REC LTD and Killekill, the duo of Alex Tsiridis and Hüseyin Evirgre stepped up to release their debut album, Centres Of Distraction, via German techno stronghold Prologue last year. The upcoming tour marks their first visit to the US.
They'll begin at Motor in Seattle on May 1st, an adventurous party and label that's hosted acts like Vessel and Container in recent months. The next night, they're in Detroit for Sound & Vision, a stacked techno event presented by Midwest mainstays Interdimensional Transmissions and Blank Code. That bill is topped by fellow Prologue associates Voices From The Lake. Neel, who makes up one-half of that group along with Donato Dozzy, is also set perform, as are Orphx and Interdimensional Transmissions' Erika and BMG.
The next weekend has Cassegrain stopping in at D.C. club Flash, where they'll play alongside Acid Test artist Tin Man. (The Austrian producer has collaborated with Cassegrain on and EP for Killekill.) They'll conclude the stateside trip at Jeff Derringer's Oktave night at Smart Bar, where they're booked alongside Eric Cloutier.
