This Saturday 15 Febuary, Brisbane radio station 4zzz presents Ecky Thump "Valentine's Day Massacre" at the Valley Bar (opp Brunswick St Train Station). On offer will be three levels of techno, electro, breaks, drum n bass, hip hop, and experimental mayhem!
Melbourne's DJ Tweaka will be appearing in the liquidBASS Loft, alongside locals KidKay Ferris (live set), Shadrach, Aniki, Orinoko, Fr1day, and Geezer.
In the Bunker Bar, you'll find Black Lung (Melbourne), and live performances by Team Plastique and Equiliser 24K. Also playing are Nam Shub of Enki vs Miss Penelope Leisure vs Kunt Grinder, Lulu, J Orchestra, Iki-Jima, Collapsicon, DJ Painful, Electro Fiend, Barrage, and 4 Layer of 9.
From 7pm to midnight in the Street Level Bar, check out the hip hop sounds of 2 Dogs, Wisemen, Raman, Bristronix, and Rob Balboa. Then from midnight, drum n bass acts Johnny G, Static n Lincoln, Modus, Zeon, and Neurojack take over.
Not only does this party bring together many of Brisbane's diverse djs and live music and performance acts, it's also a feel good event as a fundraiser for the community radio station.
