David Byrne invites Matthew Herbert and Sunn O))) to Meltdown 2015

- The 12-day event will take place at London's Southbank Centre this August.
- The first acts for this year's Meltdown festival, taking place at London's Southbank Centre and curated by David Byrne, have been revealed. The Talking Heads cofounder has selected the likes of Matthew Herbert, Sunn O))), Young Marble Giants and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble to perform at the 12-day event, which runs from August 17th through the 28th. "I am beyond excited at how much of this has fallen into place," says Byrne. "It's quite eclectic and I hope there are some new discoveries for everyone—including me—in this edition of the festival."
