  • Chicago producer RP Boo's next LP will come out on June 29th. Fingers, Bank Pads & Shoe Prints is footwork progenitor Kavain Space's second album for UK label Planet Mu, following 2013's Legacy. Earlier this year, Planet Mu also released Classics, a six-track EP that collected older RP Boo tracks (including 1997's "Baby Come On") and underlined his status as the inventor of the genre. This one sees him returning to new material, and it's primarily inspired by footwork battling and Space's own history as a footwork dancer. "I know how to speak battle from being in the circles," Space says. "Footworkers need fuel and they often say, only you can get us to battle like that. Once outside the turntables, I use the same energy to speak with people. It's a job and I am strong on giving encouragement to others, I want to uplift people. I have to try and walk that life for as long as I am alive." Tracklist 01. 1-2D-20'2 02. Bang'n On King Dr. 03. Your Choice 04. Freezaburn 05. Heat From Us 06. Kemosabe 07. Finish Line D'jayz 08.
