Dot Allison has been announced as the guest vocalist for the upcoming tour of Massive Attack. They are scheduled to begin their Australasian tour on 7 March, beginning with a performance in Wellington, New Zealand. Dot will sing the female parts that were sung by Sinead O'Connor in their latest album, 'The 100th Window'.
A 10 piece band will accompany the tour (comprising of 30+ tonnes of equipment!) which will see Massive Attack perform in Wellington, Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth. After these dates they will head to Tokyo and then begin their British tour with a gig in Glasgow on 8 April.
