  • A new multi-purpose venue called Ampere has opened in Antwerp. Ampere is located underneath train tracks not far from Central Station in Antwerp's city centre. It's being described as the first sustainable club in Belgium. Owners say this will be achieved by concentrating on four key areas: water, energy, waste and materials. Ampere's most interesting green initiative is a heat recycling system, which is powerful to provide the building with warmth for up to one week following an event with 1,000 guests. The venue also features self-service lockers and several food and drink options. Musically, Ampere will host a broad selection of house and techno acts in the coming months. Upcoming guests include Marcel Dettmann, Nina Kraviz, Josh Wink, Subb-an, Mathias Kaden and more. Keep an eye on Ampere's club page for the full schedule.
