Australian Hip Hop act Downsyde are impressing radio listeners with their debut album ‘Land of Giants‘. The album has been showcased as Triple J’s album of the week.
Downsyde consists of three talented MC’s Optamus, Dazastam and Dyna-mikes, DJ Armee, Salvatore on percussion and Cheeky on sampler and keys. The group have incorporated their beliefs into their music, things such as pride, energy, optimism, soul and honesty all take a place. They are considered to be one of the more defining forms of Australian Hip Hop today, making it original rather than following the Trends so often followed.
