  • Be-AT.TV has acquired Ibiza Sonica radio. The video streaming service has been broadcasting dance music events from around the world since 2009, with a particularly strong focus on the White Isle. In a move to expand their coverage of the island, they've assumed control of Ibiza Sonica, a non-commercial FM station dedicated to Ibiza's party scene. The radio platform also comprises a record label, recording studio, touring agency, events broadcast services and a management wing. "Through the acquisition of Ibiza Sonica, we want to bring Ibiza to the world," says BE-AT.TV. founder Ray Smith. "Leveraging the same technology and amplification tools that we use on BE-AT.TV, Ibiza Sonica will be the window into all things Ibiza. If you don't have the time, money, or effort to get to Ibiza, we will bring the Island to you, accessible 24/7 via internet radio, web, and mobile." To celebrate, Be-AT.TV and Ibiza Sonica will join forces on Saturday, June 27th for a one-off, 15,000-capacity event held in and around the port in Ibiza Town. The party, dubbed One, is free and will be streamed live across both platforms, with a bill comprising José Padilla, Guy Gerber, Harvard Bass, Matthias Tanzmann, Nic Fanciulli and more.
