- The Pacha music director died Friday from heart related causes suffered while jogging.
Rob Fernandez, a New York nightlife veteran whose career spanned 25 years, has died.
The NYC club staple died after suffering heart issues while jogging. Fernandez got his start as a doorman at Sound Factory in the '90s, and would go on to throw popular parties such as Phab, Subliminal Sessions and Be Yourself. He worked for Pacha NYC as director of promotions and booking for nearly ten years, while also hosting regular events at Cielo.
Fernandez's family provided the following statement to the New York Post's Page Six column: "We know he has touched countless lives and will be greatly missed. We would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers."
