  • Kangding Ray will make his debut voyage to Australia next month. David Letellier has been producing under his Kangding Ray alias for the best part of a decade. His fourth LP on Raster-Noton, 2014's Solens Arc, saw him "realise the full potential of a techno album" with "four-to-the-floor techno tracks set among beatless, synth-led passages." He'll be bringing his eclectic, conceptual style down under this spring, firstly to celebrate Melbourne outfit Silo's third birthday on September 18th. They'll be partying at My Aeon with David Mummery, AsN0t and Emmymaie. The following night, Letellier heads up to The Bridge Hotel in Sydney where Trench regulars Matt Lush, Gabriel Fernandes and Hannah Lockwood will all appear. Tickets to both the Melbourne and Sydney shows are available on RA.
