  • Chicago's latest Deep Turnt party is set to happen on Friday, August 7th. Deep Turnt, which takes place at Door No. 3 in Wicker Park, has brought New Yorkers Phil Moffa and Gunnar Haslam to town over the past few months. For this one, they'll look to Detroit's Luke Hess, the dubby techno purveyor who released his latest solo EP Dimension.D on his own label Deeplabs back in April. The night marks the first Chicago gig for Hess in a couple years. Taking care of local support is resident duo Studio Casual. September's edition of Deep Turnt has just been announced as well, for Friday the 4th. On the local side of the lineup is resident Olin, AKA Jason Garden, who was recently announced as the new talent buyer over at Smart Bar, and Special Guest DJ, known for throwing parties at the secret spot Rubicon. L.I.E.S. affiliate Terekke, from New York but now living in Germany, will fly in for a live set.
