The end for Sydney's Halfway House

When Sydney’s 'Halfway House' (HH) at Sugareef recently moved from Sunday’s to Fridays, many seemed pleased with the move so it has come as a surprise to announce that Halfway House will no longer be at Sugareef. Daniel Crocetti one of the promoters from HH has informed us that the change is immediate as of now and the advertised evening for Friday will not go ahead.

At this stage there are no plans to continue the evening at another venue.

Tue, 11 Mar 2003I think you're forgetting that Infusion were playing that night, I'd probably pick infusion of kasey any day because every time I've seen them they've blown me away.As for me not attending, I work friday nights and I hate sugar reef and the dendy. Find a nice decent venue and I'm sure more people will go.My 2c anyway.

Mon, 10 Mar 2003which would be just about all of you! shame on you... also, i dont see much point in criticising the 'sydney scene'. especially if you yourself didnt even go. lol. doesnt really do much cept continue the negative stigma supposedly surrounding sydneys club scene.

Mon, 10 Mar 2003In some ways this is not my thing but i totally agree with what was said about Yu pulling in the crowd on the same night while absolutely numbing their minds.Fuck Sydney sucks sometimes...

This can't, nay must not be true!As far as i know the opening night @ Sugarreef was a success. I'm sure Sydney can handle a regular weekly Prog House night, a different path may need to be taken but... fuk me Daniel... keep on Truckin'... if you need help in any department i will happily kick in. Too all the people who didn't go last week
