  • New York Hip Hop legend and Bloodline records head honcho Earl Simmons (aka DMX) is closing the stage door in favour of opening up his heart to acting, producing and Religion. Speaking recently to MTV, the rapper behind ‘Gradle 2 The Grave’ said that he wanted to allocate more time to church and his children ''I wanna take some time off, you know, read my Bible and just get more into the Word.'' Plus he adds “''I got kids, and one of my children is at that stage where you have to be around. He's 8 months, and I don't wanna be a stranger to my children. That's more important to me than all this.” His last album will be the upcoming ‘It’s Not A Game” and will include a duet with the Hip Hop man of the moment 50 Cents. Talking about the 50 Cents he said “…hip-hop was getting a little bit too slippery, a little too shiny. So it's good, it's refreshing, to have someone bring it right back to the streets.''
