  • From Another Mind, a techno collective that throws parties in Stuttgart and Munich, are starting their own label. Comprised of residents SHDW, Obscure Shape, Wice, Silent-One and Javier Bähr, From Another Mind are focused on "intelligent techno." Those two words aptly sum up their booking policy. Since the start last year of their event series, which usually takes place at Stuttgart's Romy S. or, less often, MMA Club in Munich, they've hosted a who's who of techno talent, including Surgeon, Peter Van Hoesen, Function and Shed, to name just a few. (The party last weekend featured Blue Hour, Sandrien and Ekserd.) Now the group is embarking on a new endeavor with a label of the same name. Its first record, which pays homage to Romy S., is Nachtblende, a four-track collaborative EP from SHDW and Obscure Shape. Available only on vinyl, it'll arrive in early September. Next month's From Another Mind party, on Friday the 19th, will celebrate the release of the EP, with Obscure Shape, SHDW, Wice and Silent-One set to hit the decks. The guest that night: Spanish stalwart Oscar Mulero. For now, you can tune in to a new podcast from SHDW (his first), featuring material from the upcoming EP, for NovaFuture Blog.
Tracklist A1 Nachtblende A2 Die Dinge Les Lebens B1 Die Geliebte Des Anderen B2 Nur Die Sonne War Zeuge From Another Mind will release Nachtblende on September 3rd, 2015.
