Following a residents night early next month, the crew will host local debuts for DJ Skurge, Traxman and Honey Soundsystem.
Denver house and techno crew Deep Club have announced plans for four upcoming events through early 2016.
Deep Club has brought to town talent from around the country, including The Black Madonna, Gunnar Haslam and Titonton Duvanté, often heading to unconventional venues for their parties. For now, location details for these next four are still TBA.
The Saturday, September 5th soirée will be Deep Club's first all-residents night, with sets coming from DJ Drew, Alex Whittier, Ryan Scannura and Ponyrok (playing live). It'll also serve as a launch party for the new Deep Club vinyl label, whose first release features tracks from Denver artists Occidental, Falling Into Places and Bocaj along with New York's Justin More. (The label's second release, coming in early 2016, will be an EP from Occidental.)
The next three parties will mark the Denver debut of each headliner. Friday, October 9th has Deep Club teaming up with the Great American Techno Festival (during the festival's final edition) to host Detroit jock and Underground Resistance affiliate DJ Skurge—the trio of residents playing this one includes Lone Dancer. Looking ahead to December 5th, a four-hour set from Chicago's Traxman is atop the bill, with Occidental and Jak Turbo supporting. Then on January 23rd, Deep Club will celebrate three years of operation with San Francisco DJs Jason Kendig and Jackie House representing Honey Soundsystem.
