- Howl, the third LP from one of the label's key artists, will drop in October.
The next album on Erased Tapes will be Howl, from London-based producer Rival Consoles.
Rival Consoles is Ryan Lee West, a trained guitarist who has spent most of his career working with electronic sounds. Almost all of his work as Rival Consoles has been released on Erased Tapes, including albums in 2009 and 2011. West and the label go back a long way: he provided its first ever release in 2007. Howl sees the English producer stretch out across nine expansive and densely-layered tracks, many of which mostly are built from West's own recordings rather than samples. It drops on October 16th, and you can hear samples over at the Erased Tapes online store.
