Basic Soul Unit is linking up with Amsterdam label Dekmantel for his second album, Under The Same Sky.
The LP will come close to three years after Stuart Li's first full-length as Basic Soul Unit for Still Music, Motional Response. In the interim, he's been running Lab.our Music alongside Jason Ulrich, home to some of his own deep, gritty productions, while also re-appearing on Still Music and labels like Dolly, Nonplus and Ornaments.
Under The Same Sky continues a busy year for Dekmantel, and not just because of their well-loved festival (which Li appeared at). The label has issued five solo records so far in 2015, most recently the RA-recommended What's A Girl To Do EP from Fatima Yamaha, along with a four-part series, in collaboration with clothing brand Patta, focused on Dutch talent.
