  • echospace [detroit] will release last year's Phase90 LP on vinyl in late September. The vaunted dub techno imprint originally released Infinitati as an extremely limited CD-R under the name Phase90, a solo project of Stephen Hitchell (AKA Soultek). The label says it was "deeply inspired by the possessive quality of supernatural textures, field recordings and found sounds conducted at the Calvary Cemetery." This new vinyl version was remastered by Bazza at Abbey Road studios and features the silkscreened art of Lindsay Todd, best known for his work as the owner of bespoke house label Firecracker Recordings. The press release has some heady words to describe Infinitati, saying "the material on this album can be interpreted as sinistral—dark, heavy due to the hardware and its currencies emitted by its source--the phase 90," adding that the ominous dub techno structures are not for the faint of heart. Tracklist A1 Infinitati / Ango / Dolor B1 Terram B2 Quam C1 Vinci (Unreleased Mix) D1 Vinci (Remastered) echospace [detroit] will release Infinitati in late September 2015.
