- Umfang and Volvox will take their collective to Canada's biggest city next month.
Discwoman will hit Toronto on Saturday, October 24th.
The all-woman collective, founded in Brooklyn last year, has enjoyed a banner 2015, making appearances in Boston and Montreal. Toronto's their latest stop (following an upcoming appearance at Decibel Festival), where they'll co-present a party with Work In Progress—"a monthly radio and event showcase featuring techno, house, ambient, and experimental music produced, curated and promoted by women."
Discwoman staples Volvox and Umfang (who recently announced a tape on 1080p) will headline, along with Orphx member Christina Sealey and Work In Progress's CL. The party will go down at Round. Check out a recent mix from Volvox below.
