Akkord will drop a 10-inch called Obelisk on October 22nd.
The duo of Synkro and Indigo have had a relatively quiet year, with only HTH020—a roundup of remixes and vinyl-only tracks—landing in 2015. As usual, Obelisk will come via Houndstooth, who call the EP a "a study in rhythm and frequencies, suspended in space." You can stream "Monolith" below.
If Akkord have had a quiet 2015, its members have been keeping busy on the solo front. Synkro just released his debut album via Apollo, while Indigo has a full-length coming through Samurai Horo under his new name, Ancestral Voices.
