Delroy Edwards' LA Club Resource will release a various artists 12-inch called LACR Comp. Vol. 1 on October 20th.
At just over two years old, the label, an outlet for LA-based producer Delroy Edwards, has cut a diverse path, issuing unreleased cuts from Chicago house veterans like Gene Hunt and Steve Poindexter, while also reissuing Memphis rap cassettes and pressing up music from young producers like Delivery and Skander. On the new one, the label's arranged for another Gene Hunt exclusive, "Ow (Drum Beat)." Edwards appears under the Blacktail alias, while tracks from Wrecking Project and recent signee Innyster round out the release. The release coincides with Delroy Edwards' October European tour.
