Where did the last year go for one of Melbourne's most popular breakbeat nights? Fractured has been running for almost one year now since the night started on Thursdays at the Saint in St Kilda then moved to their current home on Fridays at Seven. To celebrate one year of excellent breakbeat parties with locals and international guests, Fractured present the 1st Birthday Breakbeat Bonanza on Friday 18 April, with three rooms of the widest range of breaks Melbourne has to offer.
In the main room will be deep progressive breaks with Phil K, Keltec vs Dan Mangan and Sean Quinn. The loungeroom will be home to hip hop, funk and breaks played by Brewster, Lynt, Khalil, Hound, Agent 86, Gsan, Kendachi (live) vs Ducky, and MC Direkt.
But wait, there's more! The new upstairs Chill n Bass room will be open. Catch Lucas Chan making his Chill n Bass debut, alongside Y, Wozz and MC Ming doing their chilled DnB thing up there.
The Fractured crew seem set to give their all for this party promising it to be even better than the Xmas party that sent a lot of people home with sore heads and photos of themselves sitting on Santa Brewster's knee. Lookout for Easter Midget Bunny and an easter egg overdose. Entry is $12 on the door or $8 guestlist. Get ready for a breakbeat flavoured Easter.
