- My Life In A Hole In The Ground, Environmental Studies, Drastic Season and Off The Beaten Track will all get a fresh release in 2016.
Adrian Sherwood is reissuing four African Head Charge albums through his On-U Sound label.
The LPs—My Life In A Hole In The Ground, Environmental Studies, Drastic Season and Off The Beaten Track—will all be re-released on the same day: January 22nd, 2016. Sherwood's inspiration for the African Head Charge project, which brings together dub and African sounds, comes from David Byrne and Brian Eno's influential 1981 album My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts. (You can hear Sherwood talk more about this in his recent RA Exchange interview.) All four LPs have been re-cut at Dubplates & Mastering, with sleeve notes written by Steve Barker.
