RA broke the news last week of the Slinky lineup for Melbourne. Now we can inform you that the lineup just got a whole lot better for fans of progressive house with South American DJ Hernan Cattaneo now added to the bill! Hernan, who is also an RA columnist, will be playing alongside James Zabiela in the Renaissance Room. Fans of Zabiela can smile even more as RA reveal he's scheduled for a three hour set!

The international lineup for Slinky on Sunday June 8 currently stands as Lisha Lashes, Signum and Dave Lee in the Slinky Main Arena, Hernan Catteneo and James Zabiela in the Renaissance Room, and Lee Coombs headling the Perfecto Breaks room. Local DJs have yet to be announced. Early bird tickets for the event have just gone on sale for $55 plus booking fee until Friday May 9 or until sold out.

If you're a progressive house fan don't miss this lineup of Cattaneo and Zabiela, fresh faces to Australia and amazing emerging talent!

Also, Hernan Cattaneo, updated his RA Column today, and in this April edition provides us with his full run down of his March happenings including gigs in Buenos Aires, Asia and of course detailed happenings and thoughts on this years Miami Winter Music Conference. Together with his latest Top 10 (which features some amazing tracks) it is most definitely worth checking out!

Mon, 16 Jun 2003Haha, polecat! I missed you. I wasn't paying much notice of course but I daresay neither of them would have an empty dance card very often JZ has the sleepy blue eyed blond sort of thing about him, works it, does the wicked glare over the crowd with plenty of forelock just before he bludgeons the place with a massive bass kickin. I think 'ernan stole the show with his (far more legal) Jim Morrison look though.Thats IF I had been paying much notice, that is...

Tue, 10 Jun 2003Praise be the Slinky Renaissance arena, and all hail sir Hernan Cattaneo! I really loved his work in Melbourne to bits, what a build, what a magnificently smooth set, and he left us with such DIRTY STICKY FLOORS, hahahaa! Had a well wicked trip to Melbourne this time round, really loved playing with you lot, keep the love alive and see ya next time!
