  • Richie Hawtin has announced that ENTER. will not be returning to Ibiza for the 2016 season. In a Facebook statement, Hawtin says that he originally founded ENTER. four years ago to "bring a new type of clubbing experience to Ibiza." Taking over Space Ibiza every Thursday during the summer season, ENTER. played hosts to artists as experimental-leaning as Demdike Stare and Vatican Shadow, some of whom would likely not have been booked on the island otherwise, in addition to a wide range of house and techno acts. Now Hawtin says that the series' mission to establish a new style of party in Ibiza has been accomplished, and so the party will move on. Since launching the concept, Hawtin has also taken ENTER. around the world and to various festivals, and that's the idea moving forward. "ENTER. will continue to explore site specific events around the world based upon our core principles: Music. Sake. Technology. Experience," Hawtin explains. You can read the full statement here.
