- The Minilogue will drop later this month.
Korg has announced a new synthesiser, the Minilogue.
The Minilogue has a four voice analogue engine, a 16-step polyphonic note and motion sequencer, an arpeggiator and delay. Under the hood there's two oscillators backed with a noise generator, a filter with switchable slope settings, a pair of ADSR envelopes, LFO and an amp. An OLED display doubles as an oscilloscope, allowing real-time visual feedback of your sound sculpting.
The announcement indicates a change in direction for Korg, whose analogue synths have recently focused on miniature budget options or recreations of classic favourites.
Korg will release the Minilogue for a suggested retail price of US$500 on January 21st.
