- The Vancouver collective just posted clips from the new release to Soundcloud.
Mood Hut will release Disco Mantras soon.
In keeping with the crew's shambolic style, it's unclear exactly which Mood Hutters are involved with the new project. The label describes the tunes as "loose-ish collaborations straight from the swamps and isolated bus stops of the lower mainland... ready to soundtrack your nowever." The closing piece, "Paul's Blues," factored into last year's all-Mood Hut Libra Mix from Local Artist.
The label only dropped three records in 2015, but still ranked at number 13 on our top labels poll.
