Berlin-based label Tikita's next record, Body 2:2 Mind, will arrive in late March.
It'll be the second compilation EP for Tikita, a vinyl-only imprint focused on deep and percussive techno. The label launched in 2014 with a new issue of Japanese producer Ko-Ta's Festimask 12-inch—originally put out on his own Stratosphere Records in 2001—and returned last year with Body 1:1 Mind, which brought together material from Ko-Ta, his label-mate Kiyokazu Hamawaki, another producer from Japan, Iori, along with Dutch duo Artefakt.
Body 2:2 Mind, described by the label as an EP with "slow tempo tracks for body & mind," features the Swedish pairing of Dorisburg and Efraim Kent, and esteemed Japanese selector DJ Nobu, offering a rare original production, on the A-side. The flip will have a cut from Iori, called upon once again. Completing the set is Italian duo natural/electronic.system., with their first-ever track on wax.
Later in the year, Tikita will reissue Drai, the hard-to-find EP from Ko-Ta's KS alias that was released 16 years ago on Stratosphere. Details for that one are still TBA.
