  • Moogfest has announced a second wave of artists for their 2016 edition, which goes down in Durham from May 19th to 22nd. The weekend-long event is equal parts festival and conference. It'll take place across 17 venues in Durham, North Carolina this year, with a wide cross-section of genres and styles represented. They announced a sprawling artist lineup in December—which included Gary Numan, Floating Points and Sunn O)))—and this week they returned with more. New additions include Grimes—who released her long-awaited Art Angels late last year—as well as UK grime MC Skepta, HEALTH and Bob Moses. The festival also shared a new collection of remixes, which includes Afrikan Sciences taking on Dan Deacon, as well as Haxan Cloak remixing Moses Sumney's version of the Laurie Anderson hit "O Superman." The mini-compilation, Transitional Drifts: Volume 2 is free to stream and download below.
