- It's the Edition Mego head's first solo LP in over ten years.
Pita, AKA Editions Mego founder Peter Rehberg, will release a new album on May 14th.
These days, Rehberg is probably best known for his work behind the scenes as the boss and manager of his label, though he has an extensive solo discography going back into the 90s. (That history was explored with a reissue on Mego last year.) Get In follows a number of albums with similar naming convention—Get Out, Get Down etc—and it's his first solo full-length since 2004. Recorded over the course of nine months from 2015 through to the beginning of 2016, the label says that "Get In extends the perennial Pita sound into a paradox of intimidation and beauty."
