Todd Terje & The Olsens will release an EP of classic disco covers in June.
The Big Cover-Up, coming out on Terje's Olsen Records, will be the band's first official release, building on the relationship they've developed while touring and performing Terje's solo work. The two-disc package comprises eight tracks. The A and B-sides feature four covers of tracks by Yellow Magic Orchestra / Martin Denny ("Firecracker"), Martin Circus ("Disco Circus"), Boney M ("Baby Do You Wanna Bump") and Vangelis ("La Fete Sauvage"), while the C and D-sides host remixes of those covers by Prins Thomas, Daniel Maloso, Dan Tyler and Øyvind Morken.
Terje & The Olsens have also confirmed their next appearance in New York, which will go down at 1260 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn on Friday, July 29th. Lindstrøm and Jaga Jazzist will provide support.
