George FitzGerald has announced a new series of club tracks called Eyes Of Mine.
FitzGerald recently posted a video on his Facebook page containing excerpts of two new tracks called "Fig. 1.1" and "Fig. 1.2." Speaking exclusively to RA, FitzGerald had this to say about the series.
"My music as George FitzGerald has moved away from the dance floor over the past couple of years. With this series I wanted to reestablish a connection with the club-focussed music that influenced my earlier releases. An alias allows me to delve further into a sound than I might otherwise have done. The tracks are simple hardware jams that have refined over time in the studio. So much of my favourite house and techno of that nature has been released in standalone series of 12-inches that evolve over time. I wanted to start my own series to run in parallel and serve as a counterpoint to my other work."
