Daft Punk are set to release a feature length film, with it already being previewed at this years Cannes Film Festival. The film is based on the series of animated video clips written for the singles "One More Time," "Aerodynamic," "Digital Love," and "Harder Better Faster Stronger."
The story told completely through silent animation rather than words, will still however have the duo's more recent album "Discovery" played throughout.
Named "Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem", Daft Punk have had the help of Japanese animation legend, Leiji Matsumoto. Together they have been working on the project for the past three years and now complete it looks to take to the big screen in Japan, Portugal, the Baltic states, Russia and France.
