- The New York rapper will release his 13-track LP in September.
Mykki’s Blanco’s debut self-titled album will land on !K7 Records on September 16th.
The rapper and performance artist has released two mixtapes in the lead up to Mykki Blanco—both for the broad-minded UNO NYC. He also launched his own label last year, Dogfood Music Group, with a compilation that received praise from RA’s Andrew Ryce. !K7 will release his first official album in the fall, which includes production from Jeremiah Meece of the Chicago duo The-Drum. The first single, "The Plug Won't," is an "anti-love song caught up in a world of drugs and alcohol," the label says. "We've all fallen in love under the influence," Mykki Blanco says of the track. "We've all realised in the morning it was just the drugs leaving us numb, confused and empty."
