  • Godskitchen over the years has changed, reinvented and evolved from The Sanctuary to setting up a permanent summer residency in Ibiza and now Code will become part of folk lore. On July 18, Code will close its doors after their last party for two months while the interior gets stripped and renovated into a new playground for the midlands clubbing massive. Boss boys Chris Grifffin and Neil Moffitt said "We have always prided ourselves in staying one step ahead of the game both musically and aesthetically. When we launched CODE it was the best there could be but times change and so must we. We have always wanted to deliver an extraordinary experience to clubbers we did it at The Sanctuary, we did it in Ibiza, we did it at CODE and we will do it again now! Everything is going to change, the light, the sound, the music diversity and the building itself when it is finished it will blow your mind." On what would be the 3rd birthday of Code, Godskitchen will unviel their new creation on September 26 with the added reason to celebrate. As you might have realised, the new venue doesn't have a name as yet and this is due to a competition with Mixmag where the club name will be chosen from the best name sent in. Finally, the last Code event will feature an extraordinary 9 hour set from Armin van Buuren.
