  • Eomac is starting his own label, called Eotrax. The Irish-born, Berlin-based producer, real name Ian McDonnell, has worked alone and alongside Dara Smith as Lakker. His most recent record, issued last month, was Bedouin Trax, an album for Bedouin Records that was made using samples of music from Islamic cultures. Eotrax's first move will be Temple Of The Jaguar, a one-track, single-sided record from the label boss himself, with a B-side etching from Dublin-based artist Sal Stapleton. McDonnell conceived the 11 minute-long production while visiting Teotihuacan, the important ancient city and archaeological site near Mexico City, and we're told it aims to "find a way back to the animalistic nature within us all." Stream and download a shorter track taken from the same sessions, "Skeleton Crew."
Tracklist 01. Temple Of The Jaguar Eotrax will release Temple Of The Jaguar on November 11th, 2016.
