Melbourne drum'n'bass crew Just Rite were left homeless and lost when things fell through with their old home and didn't eventuate for a new venue. Fans of the Just Rite DnB sounds can psyche up though, as they have teamed up with the new breakbeat playing Rhino crew to start Surefire, a weekly event devoted to drum n bass and breakbeat.
The night will take place each Saturday. On the roster are Fred McFly, Lok, Dopebeat, Kamo, Dreadford, Skam, Obliveus, Guyno, Brand, MC Wasp, Dr Sponk, MC Direct, MC Ming, Hans-DC, Scotrod, Ben Stacey, Easy-H, Ides, Shane Ford, Heath Myers, Lynt, Ben Shepard, and Hound.
Surefire kicks off on Saturday 19 July, at Dream at 229 Queensberry St, Carlton. Doors open from 10pm. Welcome back Just Rite and bring on the breaks Rhino!
