  • Montreal artists Project Pablo and Francis Oak have a new project called Jump Source. Project Pablo, AKA Patrick Holland, is a transplant from Vancouver and a rising star in the Montreal scene. Francis Latreille, meanwhile, is a born-and-bred Quebecer and a well-known local DJ. Their new EP "all started on a Thursday afternoon in Montreal's Mile End," says the press release, and they made it on an MPC2000XL, Moog Source, modular equipment and some Juno synthesizers. Guide To Action features four tracks from the duo that incorporate "solos, vocals and amusing fadeouts." It'll come via ASL Singles Club, a label that Holland started back in 2014. More recently, Holland launched another imprint called SOBO. For more on him, check out our recent Breaking Through feature. Listen to clips from Guide To Action.
