As we all look out for the next best CD compilations which offer that distinct edge of uniqueness, here are two new mixes offered up by two veteran DJs.
Tony Humphries compiles classics for the third in Azuli's Choice series, following up from previous stars Frankie Knuckles, Francois K and Danny Tenaglia. A Collection of Club Zanzibar Classics takes us back to the 1980's Club Zanzibar in New Jersey where Tony became a star. His residency which lasted from 1982 to 1990 has seen an incredible and diverse range of early house, disco and garage sounds in what became a legendary, world reknown club. The two disc compilation is unmixed for all to experience each and every track. Look out for it's release on July 21.
The Africanism crew are back for their second installment on Yellow Productions. Bob Sinclair is the main man of Africanism which entails his love of afro funk, soul, jazz, latin and house music. Sinclair rounds up all the biggest french producers to help create a stir with DJ Gregory, Martin Solvieg, Julien Jabre, Liquid People and more getting busy in the studio. The productions have been mixed by Sinclair and will truly take you on a journey through the best of french house. This is also released on July 21.
