  • Discogs has released a significant update to their iOS app. Launched earlier this year, the online inventory and marketplace initially focused on the collecting aspect of its website, highlighting the wantlist and collection sections. With this new iteration, version 1.7, they've revamped the way the app displays the core Discogs sections: Artist View, Label View and Release View. When viewing an artist or band, the app will now display all the relevant information—aliases, band members and so forth—and it'll allow easy sharing on social media. You can also view how many releases you have from an artist or label in your collection. The releases section, meanwhile will feature a detailed sales history, along with tracklist credits and YouTube videos. Other new features include the ability to create and delete Collection Folders inside the app, as well as more customizable in-app settings, like the ability to set your preferred currency.
