  • Nuits Sonores will host a series of events in Seoul on December 16th and 17th. Last May, the French festival hosted 30 Korean artists and speakers during its 2016 edition as part of the 2015-2016 France-Korea Year. In December, organisers will go the other way round, taking over several venues in Seoul for two nights. The first one, on December 16th, will see Lyon selector Pablo Valentino sharing the bill with Seoul digger DJ Soulscape at Pistil, while New York beatmaker Lee Bannon and Sacha Mambo will play Cakeshop and Venue respectively. Turzi, Cheveu and Zombie Zombie will perform the following night at The Stump, before Bambounou and Unjin wrap up things at Mystik for the closing party. (Mystik was the November stop for RA's In Residence series. Read more about the history of the club in our in-depth feature.) Nuits Sonores will also bring its European Lab forum to Seoul, with two conferences on the impact of new technologies on creativity and city governance to be held at Culture Station Seoul.
