- A reissue of X-Static's 1992 classic "My Inspiration," backed by a Bjarki remix, will land in February.
Bjarki is starting a label called bbbbbb Records.
The outlet shares a name with one of the Icelandic producer's aliases, which appeared on last year's Sleep Not Found concept album. bbbbbb Records is apparently a joint venture with Bjarki's childhood friend, Johnny Chrome Silver. Going along with the producer's ongoing infatuation with classic rave sounds, the first release is a reissue of "My Inspiration," a 1992 breakbeat hardcore track by X-Static (the project of Floyd Dice and Acen), along with a remix from Bjarki himself.
