- Three producers from the group—K30, DJ NinOo and Puto Anderson—contribute to the triple seven-inch box set.
Príncipe's next release is a collection of tracks from members of the Firma Do Txiga crew.
Firma Do Txiga's K30, DJ NinOo and Puto Anderson, along wth DJ Wayne, first appeared on Príncipe in 2016, with contributions to the Mambos Levis D'Outro Mundo compilation. The Lisbon label—a key outlet for Afro-Portuguese dance music—is welcoming back those first three producers with a release, due out in mid-June, that's named after the group. (We're told Wayne, who doesn't show up on this one, is being "kept as a reserve.") Each artist offers material for one seven-inch record, resulting in a three-disc box set that "[represents] three branches of the same tree."
The eight cuts featured will also come on digital formats, and as usual Márcio Matos is in charge of the artwork.
