They hate waiting at Future Entertainment. You haven't even gone to see Meat Katie do his thing yet at Future Breaks party #2 this Saturday 30 August, and they're ready to release the lineup for party #3!

The third installment of Future Breaks will be a hip hop night with special guests the Jungle Brothers playing live and DJ Peril from 1200 Techniques.

Instigators and innovators of hip-hop's golden age, the Jungle Brothers have refused to stand still and while others have fallen by the wayside. Afrika (Nathaniel Hall) and Mike G (Michael Small) have carried on, forever pushing the boundaries and making great music a long the way.

It started with their groundbreaking release 'Straight Out The Jungle' in 1988, when the Jungle Brothers were at the vanguard of the New York hip-hop movement. The Jungle Brothers then made history with 'I'll House You', which became a huge international success, inventing overnight the hip-house genre and paving the way for Todd Terry to become one of the most sought-after remixers in the world. With a huge musical legacy the Jungle Brothers have gained a cult like following and legendary status in the world of hip hop and house music.

1200 TECHNIQUES was formed in 1997, starting out as DJ Peril and brothers Nfamas and Kabba. With the distinction of being a founding member of one of Melbourne's first ever hip hop crews The Island Boys, Peril also DJ'd in bands such as Big Pacific, Rollercoaster, Dub and Reggae and Blow Sound Unit. Without a doubt Dj Peril has become the face of Melbourne's ever-growing hop hop scene.

The full lineup for Future Breaks 3 includes the Jungle Brothers (live), DJ Peril (1200 Techniques), Dj Selekt and Ransom. The party takes place on Friday 24 October, at the Palace in St Kilda. Doors will open from 9.00 pm to late.

Pre-sale tickets are $40.00 + bf from Ticketek (ph 13 28 49), Central Station, DMC Records, Gaslight, and the usual outlets.

There will also be an Official After Party at Fractured, where on presentation of your wrist band you get FREE entry.
