Earlier this week RA gave you the details on the free Earthdance Festival day event to be held at Federation Square on Saturday 20 September. The evening event that follows directly on from the day party is Ostara , the annual Earthdance benefit night, presented by Universal Language.
Ostara will be held at the Colonial Hotel and kicks off at 8.30pm. This years event marks the sixth annual fundraiser party, and marks the perfect occassion to party on after a day in the sun listening to music while giving something to charity. Seventy percent of the proceedings of Ostara will be donated to Earthdance Melbourne nominated charities.
The lineup for the party includes T.D Shagga, Sensient, Avidd, Corporal Punishment (Alias & Sgt Dan), Organik Magik (Krusty and Paul Kearney), Steve Barr and Freq on the Dancefloor. On the Earthfloor catch Brother Jack, Miles Jackson and Baggs. Décor will be by Miscreant Workshop and Caz and Hueman.
At the party, join people across the globe at over 120 parties in 50 countries with the traditional global dance floor link up at 9am for the “Prayer for Peace”. Entry to Ostara is $25/$20 concession for pre-sold tickets, or $30 on the door.
You can get into the Earthdance spirit early by attending the Launch Party, this Sunday 7 September at Glow Bar. RA is a proud supporter of Earthdance Melbourne. Post a comment
